Habitación del Rey

The Room of the King is a grand double one situated in the first floor of the building, with a main balcony facing the Paseo del Moro and magnificent views to the Sierra. Furnished with 17th and 18th century pieces, standing out are the Isabeline style armchairs, coming from a visit of Queen Isabella II to the Sevillian Mayor, Mr. José Morales, great-great-grandfather of the actual owner.

 

Habitación de la Reina

The Room of the Queen is the junior one of the hotel. It communicates with the "Habitacion Del Rey" so can become a comfortable suite. Of special mention is the 18th century Altar piece, silver plated and polychromed, as well as 17th and 18th century engravings.

 

 

Habitación Azul

The Blue Room features a canopy bed of family tradition, richly dressed with "Toile de Jovie" original and wrapped with a marvelous collection of Pompeian and English engravings, as well as various drawings. Very elegant and calming.

 

 

Habitación de los Grabados

The Engravings Room. Ninety engravings and drawings hang from the walls of this room with two single beds and a bathroom adapted for people with a handicap.

 

 

Habitación de Frederick Castet

The Room of Frederick Castet. The Furniture and narrow fireplace frame are of English Art and Crafts, as well as the textiles designed by William Morris. Through a beautiful 19th century wrought-iron gate you can access a small but intimate garden. The room is dedicated to Frederick Castet, who was a great designer of the Christian Dior firm and friend of the owners.

 

 

Habitación del Torero

The Bullfighter's Room. A magnificent 18th century embroidered carpet acts as a headboard tapestry. Hanging from the walls a collection of lithoghraps, representing different styles of carriages. From this room you have views to the village Bull Ring.

 

 

Private Garden

The rooms of Frederick, El Infante, El Militar and Los Novios, in the lower floor, connect with a small private garden. A pleasant space for relaxing or chating among the vegetation and the murmur of a small fountain.

 

 

Habitación del Infante

The Room of the Infante is a very romantic one. It is illuminated by two large windows that open to private garden, with a marble fountain and a sublime combination of plants. A female protrait signed by Escribano shares the space with 19th century English and French lithoghraps.

 

Habitación del Militar

Room of the Military Man. An old portrait of a hero in the Battle of "Bailén" (1808) names this room. It is also decorated by a beautiful collection of 19th century Japanese Art with lacquered frames. Like the other rooms on the ground floor, this one also has access to a small private garden.

 

 

Habitación de los Novios

The Room of the Newly-weds is the most spacious one. The headboard comes from a baroque altar, with mirrors and a frame lacquered in red. A charming corner, from where the light is scattered into the room, makes it the perfect space for chatting or reading while lain down on a gorgeous edwardian ottoman. The atmosphere will invite you to never leave, while you witness how daylight vanishes smoothly in the evening, entering from an intimate patio with a whispering fountain. The bathroom is equipped with a magnificent pair of 19th century twin bathtubs.
